Hundreds will donate at special hair donation events at 25 locations in India directly to cancer patients! Mantri Mall will be the location at Bangalore. All cancer patients are requested to whatsapp 91 77360 38287 to apply for 5 free ponytails each. They can give it to a wig maker who will make customised wigs! It will be live on zoom too. Anyone can join from anywhere in the world with 12 inches of hair
Hair for hope India is the first national campaign in India started by Premi Mathew, a cancer survivor. We have already held 2 global cut a thons last year with participants from New York to Singapore. This year we are planning both offline and online since we can have gatherings. The donors will send hair to reputed NGOs in their respective countries
Famous actress Shweta and Divya will be our guests of honor. Both of them have donated their hair and Shweta sponsored 4 wigs which will be donated at the event directly to cancer patients!. It will be a beautiful sight to see the patient wear a wig with the hair she donated.
Over 25 teams from all over India will be hosting live events and we will all meet on zoom to have a Guinness book record breaking global event. Teams from Nagaland to Mumbai and Kerala to Delhi have already signed up for the event.
Our tech partner ibentos is taking the PYM campaign to the metaverse platform where LIVE streams from all over the world will be weaved together for the audience to behold. Jaspinder Bhatia, the Co-Founder & COO of ibentos said that she lost her own grandmother to cancer and is is happy about the fact that the Metaverse platform can help make this noble cause grander and reach wider audience. This is the first such event in the world where people from New York to Australia could donate at Metaverse and avenge cancer for stealing someone they love.
